What is an Extended Abstract?
An extended abstract is not simply a long abstract. An extended abstract should contain comparisons to related work, proofs of key theorems and other details expected in a paper but not in an abstract.
Requirements of Extended Abstract for TIM2024
Conference attendees are encouraged to submit a two-page extended abstract (word file) to be included in the conference proceeding. The extended abstract generally includes five parts, i.e., Background/Problem Statement, Objective, Method, Results and Conclusions. Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to submit full papers for special collections of relevant journals. Please be reminded to attach a short bio of the corresponding author/presenter after the extended abstract. The extended abstract must be written in English. The authors can refer to the extended abstract template in the “Submission” column.
